If students are concerned about meeting the expectations set out in the agreement, they are asked to report them to the Staff of the Residence Education, the Student Conduct and Community Standards Office, the Dean of Students or their respective Academic Dean. Students are also encouraged to seek the help, resources and support of the university and community staff “in these difficult times.” With effect as of August 1, 2020, all visitors and returning residents entering Massachusetts will be required to follow new state travel instructions. In addition, travelers must complete the Massachusetts travel form. Some staff may be required to report earlier than expected and a limited number of workers may be required to work on vacation if possible. Where possible, the university will consider personal needs within the company`s boundaries. For these adjustments to working time, workers are compensated in accordance with the collective agreement. By preventing the development of flu-related symptoms, you can avoid quarantine. All seats for the fall are charged with the standard room rate. Students paying for breaks residences (north B only) are charged an additional break stay fee. Students should not opt for break accommodation unless they have no other choice to take breaks. Employees who are responsible for on-site work and whose application has been denied may use accrued leave, personal work time or other accumulated leave as entitled to the collective agreement to remain in salary status for a period of absence after August 17, 2020. Workers in a high-risk category have the opportunity to take advantage of their sick leave.

Staff members who are not covered by the high-risk categories described by the CDC, including those aged 65 and over, pregnant women and people with underlying illnesses, may seek an alternative or adaptation to their on-site assignment by completing an online application with the Flexible Working Arrangement application form for staff living with a family member in a high-risk category described by the CDC and designated as an on-site member. Can I request another work assignment or an adaptation to my on-site assignment? Employees may follow the First Coronavirus Family Responsibility Act or a subsequent federal or government statutory leave associated with it.
